Erman Ayday, assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Data Sciences, discussed a recent “hacking incident” involving the Ohio Lottery. He noted that hackers were possibly trying to steal personal information. “But that's not it. Once you breach into a system, you can also potentially go and change some algorithms,” Ayday said.
